Founded in 2018 by Karen Marquardt, Simply Tidy became a way to give back to others while providing for her family. Being a mother of three young children, two of whom have Autism, having a flexible schedule has been a huge priority since daycare has not been an option. As the business grew, Karen’s husband, Bryan, joined the team and took over as office manager and business partner in January of 2020, allowing him to spend more time with his family.

Because it has been such a passion for Karen to help out other busy families by reducing the added stress of regular cleanings, she has expanded her team of cleaners. Every cleaner has to submit to a background check and go through a proven training course which we provide in-field training before going out on their own. This ensures that every member of the team is not only trustworthy but also all have the same unique set of skills and tools available to be successful at every cleaning. Because every cleaner on our team also takes their work very seriously and has pride in the results, they maintain a level of professionalism and always strive for excellence.

Our team all holds the value of improving the lives of those around us, which is why being a proud partner with Cleaning for a Reason has been so exciting and important to us. This allows us to connect with individuals and families experiencing a hard time due to cancer in our area at no expense to them. We are blessed to be a small part of this program that services all of the United States as well as Canada.

We have also been blessed with the opportunity to hire a couple of team crews to take over some of our more janitorial-type services. This has allowed us to open doors to the workforce for some with disabilities who want a chance to improve their lives as well as our own. We believe everyone who wants to work deserves an opportunity to work and does not discriminate.

All of our cleaners remain flexible and open to adding a personal touch to every cleaning, focusing on each customer’s priorities, and providing the full cleaning in an efficient and timely manner.
